Listen

Together

“BYU Law School aspires to be a place where racism is never ignored, but directly, consistently, and explicitly opposed. As an academic institution, we study and listen so that we can acknowledge the ongoing problem of racism in the United States and recognize our role in perpetuating the problem. In the spirit of inquiry that motivates all of our work, we are launching a reading group called Listen Together. (See Doctrine & Covenants 1:1) … We hope that Listen Together will become an important part of our effort to develop leaders who seek to heal the wounds of racism.”

D. Gordon Smith, dean of BYU Law
